Dear Fellow Rotarians and Friends,
 
It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to you on our Rotary Club of Haute Rive website. As we embark on another exciting year of service, fellowship, and growth, I am honored to serve as your president and to work alongside such a dedicated and passionate group of individuals.
 
Our RI President Stephanie Urchick’s Rotary International’s theme for this year, “The Magic of Rotary,” resonates deeply with our mission and values. It reminds us of the profound impact we can have on our community and beyond when we unite to address the challenges and needs around us. “It’s up to you.” “You create the magic with every project completed, every dollar donated, and every new member,” she stated. Our club’s projects and initiatives will continue to reflect this theme, focusing on areas such as education, health, environmental sustainability, and socio-economic development.
 
I am particularly proud of the diverse and dynamic team we have assembled throughout these years. It is a special year for our club, as we are celebrating our 10th anniversary. A decade of passion and service above self is truly inspiring. The Rotary Club of Haute Rive is an underdog that has braved many challenges and obstacles to come out strong and resilient throughout these 10 years. Each member brings unique skills, perspectives, and a shared commitment to making a difference. ‘Chacun a apporté sa pierre à l’édifice’. Today, I am a proud member and President of the Rotary Club of Haute Rive and had the honor to thank and congratulate all our past presidents, club members, partners, friends of the Rotary Club of Haute Rive, and family members who have served and supported this club and made it to where it stands today. Together, we will build on our past successes and explore new opportunities to serve and inspire.
 
In the coming months, we have a series of exciting events, projects, and collaborations planned. These include our ongoing support for local schools, our environmental goals and initiatives to empower adults and disabled persons, our mission towards EndPolio, our causes towards accessible health care and services to all, and every little drive towards a better society and an improved lifestyle for our people in the community and the world.  I encourage each of you to actively participate, share your ideas, and contribute to our collective efforts.
Our magazine and our website serve as platforms to celebrate our achievements, share stories of impact, and keep everyone informed about upcoming activities. I invite you to read through the pages, learn about the incredible work being done, and be inspired to take part in our journey of service.
 
As we move forward, let us remember the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self.” It is this spirit of selflessness and dedication that will guide us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
